The Crimson Tide has scored 24-plus points in all nine games this season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The No. 2-ranked Alabama football team kept its undefeated season intact with a 24-10 win over No. 19 LSU at Bryant-Denny Stadium Saturday night.
The Crimson Tide (9-0, 6-0 SEC) has now won seven straight against the Tigers (6-3, 3-2 SEC).
The Alabama defensive unit has yet to allow a touchdown in the first half of a Southeastern Conference game this season and were led by senior linebacker Rashaan Evans’ 10 tackles, including one sack, and sophomore Raekwon Davis, who totaled a career-high nine tackles, while also finishing with a sack.
On the offensive side of the ball, sophomore quarterback Jalen Hurts compiled 227 yards of total offense, going 11-of-24 for 183 yards and a score through the air. He also rushed for a team-high 44 yards on 14 carries to go with a rushing touchdown. Junior wide receiver Calvin Ridley led the UA receivers with three catches for 61 yards.
Alabama returns to action Saturday, Nov. 11 at No. 16 Mississippi State in Starkville, Miss. The game will air on ESPN at 6 p.m. CT.
