The Tide and Tigers are scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on CBS
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team practiced in full pads for two hours at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Tuesday afternoon in preparation for this Saturday’s matchup with the No. 15 LSU Tigers.
The Crimson Tide will be faced with the task of stopping an LSU rushing attack that ranks fourth in the conference with 239.9 yards a game. Not to be overlooked is the Tigers’ rush defense, which ranks second in the conference behind the Tide. The two SEC West rivals will square off at 7 p.m. CT on CBS for a primetime matchup at Tiger Stadium. The trio of Verne Lundquist, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce will call the game, the trio’s fourth Alabama game of the season.
Alabama owns the all-time series advantage, 50-25-5, and is currently riding a five-game winning streak that began with the Tide’s 21-0 victory over the Tigers in the 2012 BCS National Championship. Most recently, Derrick Henry rushed for three touchdowns and the Tide defense limited LSU to 182 total yards in a 30-16 win in Tuscaloosa last season.
