Crimson Tide and Badgers scheduled to kick off 2015 season at 7 p.m. CT inside AT&T Stadium

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – ESPN College GameDay will begin the season from Sundance Square in Fort Worth, Texas, in advance of the AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. This year’s contest features third-ranked Alabama against No. 18 Wisconsin with kickoff scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on ABC.

Alabama will be making its 32nd (20-12 record) appearance on ESPN’s College GameDay when college football’s longest running and most celebrated pregame show broadcasts prior to the 2015 season opener. It will also mark the Crimson Tide’s 24th appearance under head coach Nick Saban (17-6), five more than Oregon for the most GameDay appearances since the 2007 season.

Entering a new era on College GameDay, Rece Davis takes over full-time hosting duties from long-time host Chris Fowler when the crew takes to the road opening weekend. Davis will be joined by familiar faces in analysts Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and David Pollack, as well as contributors Samantha Ponder, Tom Rinaldi, George Whitfield and Gene Wojciechowski. Fowler and Herbstreit will anchor the booth along with reporter Heather Cox on the sidelines for the contest between the Crimson Tide and Badgers.
