The Crimson Tide is set to face off with one of the SEC’s top offenses this Saturday in Athens

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team practiced for two hours in full pads on Tuesday afternoon on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Georgia01The Crimson Tide continued to work on its gameplan to counter the Georgia offense, one of the Southeastern Conference’s top-ranked units. Alabama will travel to Athens this Saturday to take on the Bulldogs inside Sanford Stadium, with the game airing live at 2:39 p.m. CT on CBS. Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson will have the call in the booth with Allie LaForce on the sidelines.

Practice will resume on Wednesday and wrap up on Thursday before the Crimson Tide uses Friday to travel for its first true road contest of the 2015 season. Alabama owns the series advantage, 37-25-4, and came away with a 32-28 win in the last meeting between the two squads at the 2012 SEC Championship.
