Alabama and Michigan will meet for the fifth time in the history of the two storied programs

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team held its fourth workout of the postseason on Thursday, working for two hours outdoors on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Today’s afternoon session was the fourth of seven bowl practices in Tuscaloosa before the holiday break and No. 4 out of a total of 12 practices prior to Alabama’s matchup against No. 14 Michigan in the Vrbo Citrus Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Fla. The Crimson Tide will face the Wolverines on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020, with the game airing live on ABC at 12 p.m. CT. Dave Pasch and Greg McElroy will call the matchup from the booth while Tom Luginbill will work the sidelines.

The Crimson Tide and Wolverines will meet for the fifth time in the history of the series that dates back to 1988. Both teams have claimed two victories apiece with the most recent pairing featuring a 41-14 Alabama win over Michigan in the 2012 Cowboys Classic in Arlington, Texas.
