The Tigers will make their first-ever visit to Tuscaloosa for Saturday’s contest

 

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama returned to the practice field Monday for the first time since Saturday’s 65-31 win at Arkansas, working for two hours in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields this afternoon.

 

The Crimson Tide will play its lone October home game this weekend when UA meets SEC East foe Missouri for Homecoming on Saturday, Oct. 13 at Bryant-Denny Stadium at 6:05 p.m. The contest will air on ESPN with Steve Levy, Brian Griese and Todd McShay on the call.

 

Also on Monday, Alabama quarterback Tua Tagovailoa picked up a pair of national weekly honors as the sophomore was named the offensive College Football Performance Awards (CFPA) National Performer of the Week and was one of eight signal-callers named to the Manning Award Stars of the Week list. The Ewa Beach, Hawai’i, native threw for 334 yards and four touchdowns on 10-of-13 passing in the Tide’s 65-31 win at Arkansas on Saturday.
