The Crimson Tide will face the Rebels for the 67th time in history this weekend

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide opened practice for the week on Monday following its 49-7 win against Southern Miss Saturday, working for two hours in shells at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields Monday afternoon.

 

Alabama will play its first home SEC contest this Saturday, Sept. 28 against Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The matchup will air on CBS at 2:39 p.m. CT with Sean Kelley and Barrett Jones in the booth and Jamie Erdahl working the sidelines.

 

Alabama and Ole Miss will meet for the 67th time on Saturday. The Crimson Tide leads the all-time series, 54-10-2 (51-11-2 NCAA) and won last year’s meeting, 62-7, in Oxford on Sept. 15. Alabama head coach Nick Saban is 14-3 all-time (13-3 after vacations) and 10-2 at Alabama (9-2 after vacations) in his career against the Rebels. Ole Miss head coach Matt Luke is 0-2 against the Tide.
