Saturday’s game marks the beginning of Southeastern Conference play for the Tide in 2018
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. –The Crimson Tide practiced for two hours outside at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on Tuesday to prepare its game plan for this weekend’s Southeastern Conference opener at Ole Miss.
Practice will resume on Wednesday before Alabama hits the road this Saturday, Sept. 15, to open its league slate against SEC West foe Ole Miss. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss. The matchup will air on ESPN with Sean McDonough and Todd Blackledge in the booth and Holly Rowe working the sidelines.
Alabama and Ole Miss will meet for the 66th time in series history on Saturday. The Crimson Tide holds the all-time advantage in the series, 49-11-2, and won last year’s meeting, 66-3, in Tuscaloosa. Nick Saban is 13-3 all-time against the Rebels and 9-2 during his tenure at Alabama.
