Tide will be off Sunday before beginning regular season practice schedule on Monday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team held a two-hour practice in helmets and shoulder pads on Saturday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The 3:30 p.m. session was the team’s 21st of 25 total leading up to the season opener in Atlanta, Ga., on Sept. 2. The top-ranked Crimson Tide will begin the 2017 campaign at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Chick-Fil-A Kickoff Game against the No. 3 Florida State Seminoles. The two teams will meet on ABC with the game scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Maria Taylor and Tom Rinaldi on the call for ABC.
Saturday’s practice was the Tide’s final preseason session of 2017. Alabama will take Sunday off before beginning game week preparations on Monday afternoon for the matchup with the Seminoles.
