TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team wrapped up day two of fall camp on Friday with a two-hour, afternoon practice in helmets and shorts on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Friday’s session marked the second of 28 practices for the Tide as it prepares for the season opener against Wisconsin in the AdvoCare Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The matchup between the Crimson Tide and Badgers is scheduled for 7 p.m. CT on ABC with the team of Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Heather Cox on the call.
Practice began at 2:30 p.m. CT with the team taking part in drills during the two-hour practice. The Tide will follow today’s practice with another 2:30 p.m. session on Saturday, the final tune-up before the team’s annual Fan Day. The 2:30 p.m. practice on Sunday will be inside Bryant-Denny Stadium and is open to the public. Players and coaches will be available for autographs following Sunday’s practice at approximately 4:45 p.m. for 45 minutes.
