The Tide holds final practice prior to fall break on Thursday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team completed its bye week work on Thursday afternoon with a two-hour practice in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

It was the third of three practices this week as the Crimson Tide continued to focus on improving fundamentals and techniques. Alabama will enjoy first bye weekend of season during the University’s fall break. The team will return to the practice field on Monday to begin preparations for a top-25 showdown with the No. 23 LSU Tigers.

The Crimson Tide and Tigers will meet on Nov. 4 for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium, with the game airing live on CBS. Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Allie LaForce will handle the broadcast for the second consecutive contest. Alabama owns the all-time advantage, 52-25-5, and is currently riding a six-game winning streak that began with the Tide’s 21-0 victory over the Tigers in the 2012 BCS National Championship.
