The Tide spent Thursday’s morning session in full pads and will transition to shells in the evening
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team’s second two-a-day practice of 2015 fall camp got underway on Thursday morning at 9:30 as the Crimson Tide put together a two-hour session in full pads on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields. The team’s second practice of the day is set for a 7:30 p.m. start in shells.
The morning workout took place under sunny, clear skies for the entirety of the two hours. Including both sessions, the Tide will have taken part in the ninth and 10th of 28 practices during fall camp leading into the 2015 season. Alabama will start the new campaign in Arlington, Texas, facing off with Wisconsin in the AdvoCare Classic inside AT&T Stadium. The Sept. 5 game between the Crimson Tide and Badgers is scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC.
Tomorrow’s 2:30 p.m. session will be the team’s final tune-up before Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. Following the scrimmage, players will get Sunday off before starting back on Monday with the team’s final two-a-day practice of the fall.
