Work towards the season opener continued in the team’s second practice of the week
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team put together a two-hour session outdoors on Wednesday afternoon, drilling in full pads once again on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The second practice of the week was the Crimson Tide’s 21st of the fall in a series of 28 total before the team kicks off live action for the 2015 campaign. Alabama will open the new season inside AT&T Stadium on Sept. 5 for the AdvoCare Classic against Wisconsin. The Tide and Badgers are slated for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC.
Thursday and Friday are scheduled for a 3:30 p.m. CT start with the team putting in a 2:30 p.m. session on Saturday before taking Sunday off. Following Sunday’s break, the Crimson Tide will start game week preparations for the season opener.
