The Tide took Sunday and Monday off before returning to action Tuesday afternoon
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team resumed action after a two-day break from drills, practicing outdoors on Tuesday afternoon for two hours in shells (helmet, shoulder pads, shorts) on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Alabama’s 20th session of Fall Camp kicked off at 3:30 p.m. with the team continuing to work on fundamentals. The Tide resumed preparations for the season-opening contest against Wisconsin in the AdvoCare Classic inside AT&T Stadium on Sept. 5. The Crimson Tide and Badgers are scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT start on ABC with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Heather Cox on the call.
In all, the Tide is scheduled for 28 total practices during Fall Camp and will take part in five practices this week before taking Sunday off. Following Sunday’s break, the team will enter game-week preparations for the season opener.
