The Tide and Bulldogs are scheduled for an 11:01 a.m. CT kickoff on ESPN this Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team went through a final practice on Thursday afternoon, working in a 90-minute session in shells at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility. The practice focused on special teams and put the final touches on a gameplan for Mississippi State.

The SEC West showdown between the Crimson Tide and Bulldogs is scheduled for an 11:01 a.m. CT kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium and will air live on ESPN. The tandem of Joe Tessitore and Todd Blackledge will have the call from the booth with Holly Rowe on the sidelines.

Alabama holds the all-time series advantage, 78-18-3, and has won the last eight matchups between the two squads. The Tide has also won the last four meetings in Tuscaloosa, outscoring the Bulldogs 125-44 over that span. Most recently, Alabama came away with a 31-6 victory in Starkville last season.

Following Saturday’s home game with Mississippi State, Alabama will host Chattanooga on Nov. 19 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The Tide is 12-0 against the Mocs and 7-0 all-time in Tuscaloosa. Alabama defeated Chattanooga, 49-0, in Tuscaloosa in the last meeting between the schools in 2013. Nick Saban is 2-0 against Chattanooga with both victories coming at Alabama in 2009 (45-0) and 2013.
