Tide less than 10 days from season opener with Florida State
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team held a two-hour practice in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) on Thursday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The 3:50 p.m. session was the team’s 19th of 25 total leading up to the season opener in Atlanta, Ga., on Sept. 2. The two teams will meet on ABC with the game scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff.
Friday will be the Tide’s final 3:30 p.m. session of the week before the team moves up to the 2:30 p.m. slot for Saturday’s practice. Alabama will take Sunday off before starting game week preparations on Monday for the matchup with the Seminoles.
