TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team continued preparations for Saturday’s scrimmage with a two-hour session in full pads on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on Thursday afternoon.
The Tide kicked off practice at 3:30 p.m. with a focus on preparations for Saturday’s second scrimmage of Fall Camp. The team practiced for roughly two hours during the 17th session of the fall. Alabama will put together a total of 28 practices leading up to the season opener with Wisconsin inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sept. 5. The Crimson Tide and Badgers will play in the AdvoCare Classic with a 7 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC.
Friday will be the final practice of the week before Saturday’s intrasquad scrimmage inside Bryant-Denny Stadium. The scrimmage will be the last of the fall and will get started at 1 p.m. CT.
