Crimson Tide holds two-hour workout indoors on Tuesday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team worked out in full pads Tuesday afternoon during a two-hour practice at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.

The Crimson Tide continued preparations for this weekend’s home opener against Fresno State. The focus will be on stopping a Fresno State offense that produced 613 yards of total offense and 66 points last Saturday against Incarnate Word. The Tide and Bulldogs are scheduled for a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff at Bryant-Denny Stadium on ESPN2.

Prior to practice, senior linebacker Shaun Dion Hamilton was named Madness National Defensive Player of the Week, College Sports Madness announced Tuesday morning. The Montgomery, Ala., native finished with a team-high eight tackles, including a career-high 3.5 tackles for loss and one sack as the Tide limited then-No.3 Florida State to 250 yards of total offense in the top-ranked Tide’s 24-7 win.
