TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team put on full pads for the first time during bowl preparations on Wednesday for a two-hour practice inside the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility.
It was the second of seven bowl practices before the holiday break and 11 prior to the College Football Playoff Semifinal against Michigan State at the Goodyear Cotton Bowl inside AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. The game will kick off on Thursday, Dec. 31 at 7:10 p.m. CT on ESPN with Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit and Heather Cox calling the action.
Alabama and Michigan State will meet for just the second time, with the initial game coming in the 2011 Capital One Bowl, as the Crimson Tide came away with a convincing 49-7 victory over the Spartans. In that game, the Crimson Tide amassed 546 yards of total offense to post the second-best yardage output in UA history.
