TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football team continued practice on Tuesday afternoon, putting in two hours of work in full pads on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Alabama began gameplanning for a Mississippi State team that continues to improve each week. The Bulldogs are currently riding a four game winning streak and own a 7-2 overall record that includes a 3-2 mark in the SEC.
The Crimson Tide holds the all-time advantage, 77-18-3, and has won the last seven matchups between the two SEC West foes. Most recently, Alabama came away with a victory over No. 1 Mississippi State, 25-20, inside Bryant-Denny Stadium a season ago. The win was UA’s seventh victory over the nation’s No. 1 team in program history, and the fourth win over the top team in college football under head coach Nick Saban.
