Saturday’s contest will cap off the 2018 regular season for the Crimson Tide
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama continued to refine its game plan for Saturday’s meeting with the Auburn Tigers, working in full pads for two hours at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields on Wednesday afternoon. The Crimson Tide will wrap up its Iron Bowl preparations with a brief workout on Thursday afternoon.
The 83rd edition of the Iron Bowl will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, Nov. 24 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. CBS will be on hand to broadcast the action with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl on the call.
Alabama enters Saturday’s contest with an all-time record of 265-53-3 (.830) in games played at Bryant-Denny Stadium, which ranks as the best current home stadium winning percentage in the Football Bowl Subdivision. Tide head coach Nick Saban will be coaching in his 12th Iron Bowl, which trails only Bear Bryant’s 25 appearances for most games coached against the Tigers in school history.
