Crimson Tide holds final full-pad practice of the week Wednesday

 

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team continued work towards Saturday’s Southeastern Conference Championship Game, putting in its second two-hour practice in full pads of the week at the Hank Crisp Indoor Facility on Wednesday. The Tide continued game plan installation during the afternoon session.

 

The No. 1 Crimson Tide will face the No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs for the SEC title on Saturday, Dec. 1 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. Alabama is seeking its 27th SEC championship this weekend and its fifth in the last seven seasons. The contest will air at 3 p.m. CT on CBS with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl on the call.

 

Alabama is making its 12th appearance in the SEC Championship Game this weekend, which is tied with Florida for the most trips in league history. The Tide is 7-4 all-time in what is the oldest conference championship game in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
