The Crimson Tide and Rebels will meet for the 66th time this weekend in Oxford, Miss.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to the practice field Monday for the first time following Saturday’s 57-7 victory over Arkansas State. Head coach Nick Saban and select players met with the media at noon before the Crimson Tide put in a two-hour session in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields later in the day.
Alabama will open SEC play for the 2018 schedule this Saturday, Sept. 15, against Ole Miss. Game time is set for 6 p.m. at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford, Miss. The matchup will air on ESPN with Sean McDonough and Todd Blackledge in the booth and Holly Rowe working the sidelines.
The Crimson Tide rallied from a 21-point second quarter deficit to defeat the Rebels, 48-43, in Alabama’s last trip to Oxford on Sept. 17, 2016.
